Office of the Public Defender
The purpose of the Office of the Public Defender is to safeguard individual rights in all criminal and related matters, from arrest or threat of confinement through all stages of the criminal proceedings including appeal and parole board matters, if any, consistent with applicable laws, court rules, and rules of professional responsibility.
Hawai’i Health Authority (HHA)
The authority shall be an autonomous public body corporate and politic and an instrumentality of the State and shall be responsible for overall health planning for the state and shall be responsible for determining future capacity needs for health providers, facilities, equipment, and support services.
